Whenever I lock my computer after a break has started the break timer pauses, for security reasons I must lock my computer when I step away but I am taking a break. I am using Windows Server 2008.

I am using Windows Server 2008. Just to be sure... When you are using your computer, the break timer counts down. When it reaches zero, you are asked to go take a break. If I understand correctly, you are reporting that when you lock your computer, the break timer stops counting down, and hence you are not prompted to take a break?

No, it is actually when the break timer kicks in, not the countdown to the timer. When the break starts I lock my computer, and when I return the timer is at the same point it was when I left.

(In reply to comment #2) That's odd. Thanks for the clarification.
