It would be good to have separate options for the new "natural break" feature, especially whether the "postpone" button is shown. Or just always show the "postpone" (or a "cancel") button. Explanation: I like the new feature that Workrave starts a "natural break" when I lock my computer. But if I come back soon and cannot continue what I need to do is a problem, especially when the normal rest break is not even close in time.

(In reply to comment #0) I'm a bit confused. A natural restbreak window should always show a postpone button, regardless of your settings. Are you saying that the postpone button is not present for you?

> Are you saying that the postpone button is not present for you? Yes, that is the case. My settings: The postpone button is disable for me for the microbreak and the rest break; it is not disabled for the daily limit. Tell me if you need more information.

By the way, it seems that a normal break becomes a "natural break" when you lock the computer. This means that if the skip button will always be displayed for the natural break (as expected), then it will be very easy to get rid the dialog box (instinctively :): 1. Lock machine, 2. Unlock it, 3. Press skip. I guess this should be changed, too, and a normal break should stay a normal break, no matter what.

(In reply to comment #3) I'm a bit confused again. Did you try that? Normally, it should not be possible to convert a regular restbreak into a normal restbreak just by locking the screen.

At first I didn't "try it", just experienced it by chance. To make sure I was right, I intentionally tried it before writing. And I just checked it again. So I have confirmed it (at least) three times: this is how it works on my computer. (By the way, I confirmed the other issues, too, before writing. I am not playing games with you.) But you can come and check for yourself... :) I guess it's time to write down my configuration: - Workrave 1.9.3 - Windows XP Professsional, Service Pack 3, with latest updates. Tell me if you need more information. I am looking forward to this bug correction very much, as the current behavior causes me problems, but I like using Workrave. Thanks for your work, and best regards, Géza

I believe the latest snapshot fixes these problems: - Natural restbreaks during screen lock can now be disabled (this is the default) - Natural restbreaks now show the postpone/skip buttons, even if disabled - Locking/Unlocking can not longer be used to cheat when postpone/skip buttons are disabled. Could you please install: http://snapshots.workrave.org/20110216/workrave-win32-v1_9_3-57-g6e2ec53b37-20110216-installer.exe and let us know if everything works properly now. Thanks.

(In reply to comment #5) > (By the way, I confirmed the other issues, too, before writing. I am not > playing games with you.) I'm sorry for doubting you. I guess I was assuming (hoping) we wouldn't make such mistakes. I confirmed your report on both Win XP and Win 7, albeit a bit late, since Rob has supplied a fix already. (In reply to comment #6) > I believe the latest snapshot fixes these problems: > > - Natural restbreaks during screen lock can now be disabled (this is the > default) I've found the checkbox. Didn't try yet. > - Natural restbreaks now show the postpone/skip buttons, even if disabled Confirmed. Though it is a bit strange that a natural break shows skip/postpone, while a self-inflicted break shows only postpone. > - Locking/Unlocking can not longer be used to cheat when postpone/skip buttons > are disabled. Confirmed.

No problem :). > Though it is a bit strange that a natural break shows skip/postpone, > while a self-inflicted break shows only postpone. I think a "Skip" button would be enough for the natural breaks. Thanks, Géza

Buttons on natural and self-inflicted break should now be the same.
