Good day, I normally run as a standard user. The User Access Control security demands that I verify the program each time it is started. "Do you want to allow this program from an unknown publisher to run?" is the error message. I run v1.8.4 because this version allows the option 'to suspend timer when inactive'. I cannot find this option in the newer version. However, I think that I had a similar problem with v1.9.x ak

The 'suspend timer when inactive' feature has been replaced by the 'reading mode'. Workrave 1.8.4 requests administrator privileges at startup, so that explains the verification request. Starting 1.9.0, Workrave no longer requires admin rights. COuld you please check 1.9.2? Thanks.

As you said, v1.9.2 no longer requires admin privileges to run. That is good! However, I prefer the earlier individual breaks setting for 'suspend timer'. The reading mode seems to march all timers forward. I prefer to not suspend the timer only for the longer breaks. ak
