Description
Arnaud Gouder  Sep 23 2002 04:00:42 UTC
I find my self working on 2 PC's for most of the day. It would be ideal if I
can connect several instantiations of workrave with eachother, so that my time
is tracked on both PC's at the same time.

Hmm...
There is several forms of Multi pc support
- All PCs are connected to the same (local?) network
- All PCs have a continuus internet connection (possibly through a firewall)

More exotic cases
- Some PCs have a dailup connection to the internet
- Some PCs are connected by e-mail only (I would be interested in this one)
- PCs are not connected at all

Another question. How distributed should workrave be?

1) Only one WR is active at a time. When you start working on a computer, the WR
on this computer will become active. WR will first retrieve the current state
from the previously active WR. Then it will deactivate the previously active WR.
The main status window of a deactivated WR will not show any running timers.

2) When you become active on one computer, this will be visible on all computers.
All timers on all computer will be synchronized. So, your collegues can see at
computer A if you are active at computer B by looking at the WR mainwindow.
