This is a terrific concept. I installed several months ago and it worked fine for a few weeks. Then it began crashing. It starts beautifully on boot but as soon as it notifies me about the first break, it crashes. I get a generic dialog about the fact that the program has stopped working.

I uninstalled the program, rebooted and reinstalled it. It again started fine on boot. When I went into the preferences to change them, it crashed.

Did you install any other programs just before Workrave started crashing? Would you try disabled sound and exercises and check if tit still crashes?

I have a few more questions:

- Does Workrave also crash when you start a restbreak yourself?
- Does Workrave also crash when a set blocking mode to 'No blocking' (instead of 'block input' or 'Block input and screen')

For case 886, most of the crashes will have that generic
dialog, only a few time will the more precise error message (about c++) pops up. I am wondering if you sometimes get the non-generic message too?

User reports by email (during bugzilla downtime..) that playing sounds causes the crash. Disabling sound solved his problem.

Workrave 1.9.2 (released a couple of days ago) has a number of stability fixes in the windows sound player. Please upgrade and check if sound is working properly. If not, you can reopen this issue.
