https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=552297
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=566156

Not all of these bug have the same cause; Though most of them seem X related. I also checked some other Workrave bugs from Redhat's bugzilla:

Bug 552297: Somewhere deep within gtk, a color map is NULL (with clearlook style). It seems other applications also had this problem. Might be related to switching themes/icon theme? I could not reproduce this bug. Any idea on how to reproduce? This is a duplicate of bug #613.

Bug 566156 and
Bug 589415: BadWindow X error; Fixed in commit 24c9374f198aaade9406eb9e1bf8b9b457786f58

Bug 570933: BadWindow when using deprecated activity monitoring (please enable xrecord extension); Fixed

commits 76568664e53901a6a3cd0c83b3c6404b84e160be and 4904570949e26fe3502021618f1ee881baa02a8a

Bug 573275 and
Bug 585573: XRECORD extension fails: Workrave creates a xrecord context and when it enabled the context it fails. xrecord was disables in ubuntu for a while because it was unstable. Anyways. Error intercepted. commit 24c9374f198aaade9406eb9e1bf8b9b457786f58
