Looking at the other requests that mention a screen saver, sounds like it is time for a Workrave screen saver. How about showing the time remaining in the break and perhaps some of the exercises moving about the screen? If I ever get time I might even try to write this for you...

Created attachment 192 Workrave on top of screensaver Workrave on Windows should already do what you describe if you do not choose to display the login screen on resume. When you choose to display the login screen, technically your screensaver runs on a secure desktop and is not accessible to Workrave. The current solution is to not display the login screen on resume.
