This can be highly annoying, since I shut down every night, but workrave fails to save settings past reboot.  I'm using the latest version, but this has occurred through at least one update and a few uninstall/reinstall cycles.  

When I reboot, it goes back to the defaults, which are not the settings I use.  I then have to go back through and change the settings each and every morning.  

I love the program and it's helped reduce my mild carpal tunnel, but this is driving me crazy!

Workrave should store its settings in the registry at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Workrave. Could you please check using regedit if the break settings are stored there. 

Does the C:\Program Files\Workrave directory contain a workrave.ini or workrave.xml files with settings (they may overrules the registry)?
