Description

Whenever there is a 30 seconds rest break and workrave locks the screen, it incorrectly detects keyboard/mouse activity.

The screen will start flashing at 28 seconds and the timer will not continue. Unfortunately this makes workrave unusable in windows 7.

Feel free to contact me to assist you with a legal license for Windows 7 beta.

I have not tested Workrave in Windows 7 and I would be one to do that. We have legit beta keys but the Microsoft download links no longer work. You can e-mail me if you have more information.

What you describe sounds like a break timer freezing during a break. A micro break or a rest break? Is the timer still frozen after the window stops flashing? Does the timer always freeze at the same time?

Please reply with your Workrave version (right-click systray icon > About...), your Windows 7 build (winver) and platform (x86/x64).

Also I need to know which of your enabled breaks has 'Suspend timer when inactive' enabled. You can check by going here: right-click systray icon > Preferences > Timers: check break tabs.

Thanks

Erwin,

I cannot reproduce what you describe. I tested in a virtual machine.

If you give me more information I will try again to reproduce what you describe. Please note a known issue on x64 platforms is that Workrave does not block input sent to 64-bit applications during break time.

For anyone who's interested, Microsoft has turned Windows 7 x64 Build 7000 download link back on.

OP reports via e-mail that the bug is not reproducible in Windows 7 RC build.
