I'm using VMware Workstation (6.5 build 91182) to run a Debian Linux guest (kernel 2.6, Xorg 1.4.0) on a Windows Vista host. When inside the guest, keyboard activity doesn't get passed to Workrave. Result is that it suspends the timers due to idle time. I can workaround it by not suspending the timers when idle, but that's actually not what I want.

I have seen a similar bug report (616) for a Linux host, but the proposed solution doesn't seem to help here. The guest has VMware Tools installed but the problem persists.

Please let us know if you have this problem with Workrave 1.9.0.

Thanks,

It still doesn't work properly under XP with VMware player 3.1.1 and Workrave 1.9.4.
