The mouse and keyboard counter seems to be inaccurate, sometimes not incrementing, sometimes incrementing by one, and sometimes incrementing by two or three.

Most often it is 2 at a time, but if I click and drag, then it increments by one when I first click it down, and increments again when I let go.

Also, keystrokes are not reported accurately.

This seems to be true for both windows and linux. In addition, on windows, a mouseclick sometimes counts as a keystroke.

My distro: Archlinux---most recent version as of Tue 16.

There is a known problem with 1.8.5 and keystrokes being recorded twice. As far as I know the problem only occurs on Windows. The source was patched last month and so the problem is fixed in nightly builds.

Really? Is it any particular mouse button? What kind of mouse do you have?


This bug report says you are using 1.8.6... but 1.8.6 isn't out yet. Are you using a nightly build of Workrave? Would you please give us the version you are using on Linux, and the version you are using on Windows?

I have same issue with 1.8.5 running WinXp. Keystrokes are counted double times. When next version is going to be ready?

I have a similar issue with double counted chars on ubuntu 9.04 Workrave 1.9

I have similar issue with 1.9.0 on Linux Ubuntu 9.10.
Mouse click couter increments by 2.
Keyboard counter increments by 4.
Tested with and without Compiz.
