Holger Levsen <de**@la**.org> has suggested via the Debian bug tracker that a male character for the exercises be provided in workrave.

Feel free to donate male exercise images :-)

I disagree with what this ticket technically requests. We don't need such superfluous options. However, I certainly agree with the impression Holger described in the original report (Debian #348845). There should be a less sexuated (or - I guess - more realistic) character available. I also recommend to make that character the default.

I would definitely (still) like to see a more realistic, gender-neutral, non-sexualized character for the exercises. There is no need to have such visuals on a piece of software that is often used in a professional environment, especially where the vast majority of its users will not be horny teenage boys. I feel actively uncomfortable using Workrave because of the default imagery. I always end up turning the exercises off as a result.
