Recently we deployed Workrave 1.8.4 to about 3500 workstations. Some of them are reporting performance issues after it was installed. All the clients run Windows Xp Prof. SP2.

They report that the mousepointer acts up strangely. It is so delayed that is almost impossible to work anymore. After a short period of time the system starts working normal again. Most of the time it acts up shortly after logon but has also been seen a long time after logon when working normally.

When workrave is shutdown the issue does not appear anymore. Any idea how this behavior can be fixed?

Bug fixed by reverting 1.8.4 changes. As a result, Workrave may not be able to monitor some application in Vista....
