When I select Preferences -> Sound -> "Play sound using soundcard" no sound is played (or at least none is noticable ;-) when a microbreak ends. Sounds for start-of-microbreak and start and end of restbreak are ok (I haven't tried the other ones like the ones for exercises).

When I select "Play sound using built-in speaker" a sound is played for the end-of-microbreak (and for the other events mentioned above it also still works ok).

The file /usr/share/sounds/workrave/micro-break-ended.wav exists and has the same owner and permissions like the other soundfiles in this directory.

Using workrave 1.8.4 provided by Kubuntu Linux 7.04
