The workrave pop-ups come up double. I have a Laptop in dual head mode (using the internal LCD and an external screen). Verified: only one instance of workrave is active, but yet it displays two pop-ups on micro-breaks and rest breaks. NOTE: This does not seem to happen 'at home' where my Laptop only uses one screen (eg. not in docking station). Images to show the issue will be attached. My configuration: OS: Gentoo with GNOME 2.16. Video: ATI X1600 mobile, configured dual head, dual desktop configuration.. The second display does not show the pop-ups whatsoever. Reproducibility: always.

I have the same problem with 1.8.4 (with 1.8.3 I had one dialog on every screen/monitor). Gnome 2.6.13, Intel 945, dual view

Perhaps of interest to know that my secondary display is configured 'LeftOf' the primary display, not (the default:) 'RightOf'. Unsure if this has anything to do with it ?

I'm unable to reproduce this problem. Tested with nvidia driver and radeon driver (mobile radeon 9000 I think). I tried both LeftOf and RightOf: no difference. Could be please attach your xorg.conf? What version of gtk do you have installed?

I may have fixed the bug. Any chance your two screens overlap?

(In reply to comment #7) > I may have fixed the bug. > > Any chance your two screens overlap? Rather no. At least I don't know anything about that. Still interested in my xorg.conf?

Created attachment 85 The xorg.conf, using fglrx closed-source ati driver. As requested, the xorg.conf I am currently using.

Great, thanks for the config files! Multihead contained 2 bugs. One that surfaces when two monitors overlap (e.g. in clone mode). The other bug is triggered when you have multiple screens. I have 1 screen with two monitors, Both config files defined two screens with one montor each. This triggeres the bug. Thanks!
