When I type on keyboard, Workrave sometimes dosen't detect it as sign of activity. "Relax" window then opens, takes the focus and since I rarely look at monitor while typing, it leads to loss of few words while wrists don't relax... I'll try to figure out more accurate information.

I've sometimes seen the same problem in 1.8.4 on Windows NT and possibly XP. I was curious to see that this report was originally for Linux. I'd think it was a OS dependant problem. I haven't seen the same problem with mouse movements. But maybe that's because mouse movements are less sensitive do disturbance, not because the mouse detection routine is better. It's very annoying when the program focus is moved from the actual program meant to take my input. But then again, when I think of it, maybe that's the point with Workrave? To make me stop writing when I'm in too much rave. Is it a bug or a feature?
