Could someone add a percent of max volume setting for workrave on windows?  The buzzer sound effect scares the crap out of me if I'm listening to music on the computer.

When I'm using itunes, I have 4 settings that can adjust volume:
1. The knob on the speakers
2. The windows software main volume control for the sound device
3. The wave volume in the windows software mixer
4. A slider within itunes.

So numbers 1-3 affect the workrave & itunes volume equally.  I can make itunes quieter than workrave by moving the slider within itunes.  This is not helpful to me; I would like to make workrave always slightly quieter than itunes or any other system applications.  There must be an application specific volume setting within windows.

Sounds (pun not intended) like a good idea. I think a slider 0-100% which affects only the workrave specific sounds would be practical.

For a quick fix you could manipulate the soundfiles. I plainly removed the rest-break-started.wav as it clearly irritated my co-worker and I deem the sound unneccessary. (I am looking at the screen anyway and see the window coming up, so why a loud sound effect too?)

rest-break-ended.wav is very useful though, as I don't have to keep an eye on the screen to know when the break is over.
