Workrave 1.8.3 seems to ignore the new datadir option in workrave.ini. It keeps generating a subdir in my XP "application data" dir, instead of on my USB stick.
Workrave does use workrave.ini for the other settings for timers and gui.

I've tried removing the workrave datadir from application data and removing any workrave related entries from the registry. But unfortunately it didn't help.

This bug is related to bug 478. Don't know if that one should be closed now the function is included. However it doesn't seem to work yet, at least for me.

Argh. I obviously never tested this on Windows... Fixed. Well partially...

In Workrave.ini, you have to use double backslashes. i.e.

[general]
datadir=.\\Data

(yes. relative paths are now also supported on Window)

One more remark before I go to sleep

If you copy Program Files\Workrave to your use stick, Make sure to
a) modify the Workrave shortcut, or
b) start lib/workrave.exe instead of workrave
