Description

Hi,

I've been using workrave for about 2-3 months for a pinched nerve, and find it invaluable. I like the semi-agressive approach it has. Thanks for all your work on this.

On to the bug.

The micro rest reminder no longer pops ups, with the skip, postpone etc. screen, it just rolls over and starts the countdown again. It used to. Yesterday, I hit skip after several prompts and that seems to be the end of it. I am on windows XP, a fairly new system, with tons of RAM. The rest reminder skip/postpone screen still pops up.

Do I need to reinstall, or can I delete the preferences file or something like that?

Hi,I changed the microtimer preferences so that "suspend timer on inactive" was no longer checked. Now the skip postpone and rest reminder comes up. I'll play with it more and get back to you. It's possible that it was rolling over back to 10 minute start because of inactivity.

It happened to me, also micro timer was not resetting up, On XP, Right click on task bar, processes tab, choose WorkRave.exe, right click, and End Process Tree, restart program, it may work.

It seems to me that the said micro-rest prompt disappears when this situation occurs:

1: I work and exercise as instructed by WorkRave
2: After the exercises in the "Rest break" I hit the "Lock" button, in order to bring up the "This computer is in use and has been locked ..." screen.
3: I return to the computer and unlock it after the "Rest break" is over. Now the micro-rest window appears in the "background" (invisible), and locks the keyboard and mouse OK. This is frustrating, as I do not always remember why my keyboard and mouse is not working.

Workaround:
If I remember things and quickly use [Alt] + [Tab] to switch to the "hidden" window with the micro-rest prompt in it, everything seems to be fine afterwards.
