It should be possible to specify the location where workrave stores its usage
and statistics data. This allows people who run Workrave on a multi-boot
Linux/Windows system to use the same location data on both windows as well as linux.

Perhaps it's also useful to do the same for configuration data. (though it
sounds weird to configure where the configuration is stored...).

Question: how to specify the locations? in the GUI? in an .ini file? Or first
try to read the configuration from an xml file (workrave already support xml
based configuration file) and then a fallback to gconf/registry if the xml
configuration cannot be found?

PINS (a password manager) tries to read a ini file in the same directory the exe
file is. If it can't find it, it falls back to the registry. Works like a
charm. If xml is already supported I'd use an xml instead of ini file.

If this would be possible it would solve my feature request bug 472 as well :)
