I'm using kde3.3.3, and a freshly built workrave 1.6.2, and when I run it, the system tray expands to fill the whole width of the screen (I have the kicker set to look a bit like the OSX dock, and 'expand as needed'). Is workrave reserving too much space or something ?

Great, I exited and restarted workrave, and that seems to have cured it. Must have been a bad preference or something...

This does eventualy occur. Closing workrave restores the kicker.

KDE's systray is horrible broken in this respect. It takes the maximum width of all icons and then gives EACH icon this amount of space. Workrave claims roughly 150 pixels, so all icons get 150 pixel with.... Workrave now has an native KDE applet.
