I'm using nVidia's nView desktop manager on Windows XP. It seems that Workrave sometimes thinks I'm not doing anything, as it is probably monitoring one of my inactive desktops. I have tried to make it active for all desktops, but it doesn't seems to change anything.

I think it is related to 805

This should be fixed in 1.8.6. Feel free to reopen if you can reproduce the problem in version 1.9.0. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 741 ***

I do not won't to re-open this one, just need to consolidate everyone's understanding: there seem to be several bugs opened for the same issue: 363, 805, 741. I still have issues with multiple desktops on Linux with 1.9.0, see Bug 805 for details

Bugs 363 and 741 talk about 'virtual desktops' (one monitor, multiple desktops) on Windows (virtual desktop have been standard on linux for years). Mouse/keyboard monitoring should (since 1.8.6) work on all desktops. However, break windows are only shown on the first desktop. This is why 741 is still open (363 only mentions monitoring). 805 mentions 'dual monitor' on Linux. I think this is quite different from 364 and 741.

Thanks for clarifying that, Rob, I see what the difference is now. Does break window appear on active desktop or just on first one?
