When I log back into Gnome, Workrave always shows the status window, even though
I have disabled it in the prefs dialogue. Clicking the close button only
minimizes the window but does not remove it. The only way to make workrave
behave as configured is to exit the app and restart it.

This seems to happen when workrave is restarted by the Gnome session manager
before the notification area applet of the Gnome panel is up and running.
