The statistics window for today shows the statistics at some fixed point in time
(maybe when the window was first opened)

I would expect the window to always reflect the latest situation: i.e. daily
usage should increase as long as I'm using the computer. When I take a break,
the corresponding counters should be increased, etc.

Statistics are now updated once a second.
