I tend to agree with Raymond. Showing break windows during natural breaks will
probably disturb me while reading documents etc. Also, he makes a valid point
asking which window should be shown. A natural micropause window, a natural
restbreak window or a natural daily limit window.

Then again, assuming the 10% value mentioned earlier, this is not much of a
problem: you can show them all in sequence: After 2.5 seconds a natural
micropause, after 1 minute a natural restbreak, and maybe after that a natural
daily limit?

Maybe it helps to go back to the requirements phase. The most important reason I
could imagine for wanting this feature, is that you want some feedback on how
far you are in your natural restbreak (micropauses and daily limit seem less
relevant to me).

Like I said, I don't think a window is the way to go. Personally, I've solved
this problem by configuring my screensaver to activate after 10 minutes. That
way I know my natural break is over when my screen is blanked.

I can't think of alternative approaches that would make sense. Maybe you can do
something with the system tray icon. During a natural break, you could change it
to display a progress bar. Maybe the sheep could walk away or change color or
something like that.

On the other hand, we could also first answer Raymonds question of who actually
wants this feature, and then start thinking about possible solutions.

An alternative solution would be to raise the workrave main window during a
natural break. The window is likely to be positioned on an unobtrusive place,
and provides all the information you need.

I think that on activity, the window should be lowered again, to its original
location. I'm wondering if this is technically feasible (maybe you can create a
whole new window and show it at the same place??)

You could restrict this to when the main window is open (not everyone has it
open all the time) or to when a specific configuration option is set.

I'm just dumping some ideas here, to keep me from forgetting. The question
remains: Who wants this feature.
