Description

When not touching anything (keyboard, mouse, etc.) Workrave keeps counting down to the next break. Also if I force start a Rest break, the counter blinks in orange as if I was using the keyboard/mouse. I’m on Fedora 28 (beta at the time), using GNOME 3.28 on Xorg. Looking at the output of libinput-debug-events also shows there is no user input happening.

Usually, when this happens, the mouse can be seen to move about 1 pixel left/right/up/down rapidly, as if the mouse is generating some noise on its reported position. This is enough to fool workrave into thinking that you are actually doing something. Are you observing anything like that?

No, and as I wrote even libinput doesn’t detect any input events. It’s suspicious that the problem arose right after the Fedora 28 (still beta) upgrade.
