Created attachment 319 Comparison of alsamixer view before and after Mini Break This issue is similar to bug #841, but unlike #841 it concerns Debian 9 (I don't know if it's still a problem on Windows as #841 stated). I'm not 100% sure, but it seems that every time (or nearly every time) after Rest Break _and_ Mini Break, system maximum sound level becomes limited to current volume value. As a result I can't turn the volume up anymore. When I enter `alsamixer` command I can clearly see that every time after Mini Break the volume of the default sound card is at maximum level, but when I change my sound card from default to 'HDA Intel PCH' (by pressing F6 in `alsamixer`), I can see that master volume is not at maximum level. When I'm turning master volume up, I can hear that sound is getting louder (even if sound level of the default sound card was displayed at maximum level) and sound level of the default sound card is updated to this new value. It's quite difficult to explain, but I hope you get the idea. If not, please ask – I'll do my best to clarify the problem. I added 3 screenshots in attachment to visualize alsamixer results before and after Mini Break.
