David <da**@me**.nz> writes:
"[...]is there a way to inform the program 'where' to place the popup dialogs? At
the moment it places them in the centre of the screen, which normally
isn't a problem, but I run a Xinerama desktop so I end up with half the
dialog on one window, and the other half on the other side - it makes them
quite hard to read.[...]"

I am not sure how this relates to multi-head support, which, if I am not
mistaking, is supposed to be introduced in either Gnome2.2 or gtk2.2 ?

Dev: GTK+ 2.1.0 Released:
GTK Anonymous George writes "Owen Taylor announced the 2.1.0 release of the GTK+
toolkit today. Lots of nice improvements including the long awaited multihead
support. Other cool improvements are many nice fixes to the treeview wideg and
.ico and .ani support for gdkpixbuf. Read the full announcement here "

Multihead on X11 should work now. Only tested with 1 screen and 2 monitors. I
guess multiple graphics cards are required for more screens. not sure though.
