Is there a switch/option to reset the micro-break timer after the rest break occurs? Currently, I have the micro-break timer set to every 20 minutes, and the rest break timer to 45 minutes. The result is that I have a micro-break, and then 3.5 minutes later, a rest break.

I'm confused. In most configurations, the microbreak duration is shorter than the restbreak duration. As a result, the microbreak will reset itself while you are taking the restbreak.

Is your microbreak duration longer than the restbreak? Or do you, perhaps, have "reading mode" turned on, and is that affecting the situation?

Let me provide a scenario:

Time: 13:00
Micro-break: every 20 minutes for 1:30
Rest break every 45 min for 4:00

Micro-breaks at
  13:20
  13:40
  14:00

Rest break at
  13:45

There's only 3.5 minutes between the second micro-break of the hour and the rest break, which is silly.

There's only 11 minutes between the rest break and the micro-break at 14:00, an interval that's 9 minutes shorter than what I want.

I'm asking for two things:

.a user-configurable minimum interval between breaks with the longer break taking precedence
.re-set the micro-break timer at the end of the rest-break duration.

Thank you for your reply. I was not confused about the requirements, though. Those are very clear (especially with your newly added explanation).

I am confused why this isn't already working for you. On my side, things are working fine.

Do you, perhaps, have reading mode enabled?
