I'm using a remote desktop session as my computer with screen spanning. This means I have two monitors that the remote session things is just 1 really long monitor. The short coming in the auto alignment of the popup warning is that it's in the middle of the monitors, so half on 1 monitor, half on the other. The requested feature is either to allow the ability to "align left" the popup, so instead of thinking a screen width of say 2560 (1280x2) has a center point of 1280, that instead half of 1280 is the new center, being 1/4 the width of the screen. This would be the true center of the main screen (assuming both monitors in a spanned layout are equal, but no need to split hairs). The other UX alternative is to auto detect when the resolution's ratio is really bizarre (doubley tall for stacked spans or doubley wide for side by side spanning) and just automatically recompute the center, no UI changes needed. Thanks, longterm (10+ years) user!
