I'm trying to achive a state in which workrave is running, the applet is active but no window nor tray icon is shown. As for now if I disable tray icon, the window pops up, if I close the window, whole workrave quits, despite applet is running. My expectation would be to keep the process running while window exists or tray is enabled or applet is active. Why? I don't make use of window (applet is sufficient), so they the tray icon has no use and dupliates applet RMB actions.

Which applet are you using? Gnome 2, gnome 3, gnome shell, unity? Workrave should only require one of: tray icon, applet, main window. This to make sure you can always access workraves menu. The main window should not popup when the tray icon is disable and a applet is active. Is this bug still present in 1.10?
