this is the first time i have visited workrave.org and am trying to install it. it looks like a very cool tool. i have admin rights on my machine which is  PC with Windows 7 professional.

i get the following messages:
"WORKRAVE IS STILL RUNNING. SET UP MUST CLOSE WORKRAVE BEFORE CONTINUING. PLEASE CLICK OK TO CONTINUE OR CANCEL TO EXIT".

after i click ok it gives the following error:
"FAILED TO CLOSE WORKRAVE. PLEASE CLOSE WORKRAVE MANUALLY"

any suggestions? i've never installed this before; have no sheep icon; no workrave files or anything on my pc.

Do you have a Window Explorer open in a directory called Workrave? This confuses the installer (This problem has been fixed, probably after the release of 1.9.4)

You could also try to install the latest build:
