When the break window comes up, attempting to move the mouse onto it, in order to magnify the window, causes it to run away. Therefore it is impossible to read the text in it with XP's magnify.exe. The XP magnifier uses a window on the screen to magnify, rather than making the whole screen a magified partial view of the desktop. There is a mode in the Windows 7 magnifier which acts like this as well, so this may be reproducible in that mode. There are no options to increase font sizes for the interface to work around this.
