Description

I'm running version 1.9.4 and I have to say its an amazing program. That said, I just noticed that the countdown is loosing time. I started my computer around 11am and have set the Rest Break timer to 2:0:0 with a duration of 0:15:0 with all other timers turned off. Its now 12:41pm and it says that there is still 56:40 left. I thought this rather odd so I opened the Workrave window and watched the timer count down and to my amazement, its pausing for a short period every few seconds. In fact, I just watched it right now and it paused between 55:38 and 55:37 seconds while I counted to 120 and then continued at 55:37. Its now paused at 55:07 but this time only lasted for a few seconds. I'm not a programmer, but it looks like a memory leak or something. Great application if you can fix this issue. -TorQue[MoD]

Workrave stops the timers a few seconds after you stop using keyboard and mouse and resumes the timers when you start using keyboard or mouse again. Could this explain the behaviour you are seeing? Or does workrave start/stop its timers without you using keyboard/mouse?

No, its happening constantly. I was using the mouse to bring the clock up and watched it pause every few seconds. And you should make that disabling the counter due to inactivity an option that you can turn on and off because some people (me for instance) simply want the timer to go off religiously every 2 hours regardless of any down time in between. If the timer was actually based on your windows clock, it would be perfect.

This feature is most wanted :) > And you should make that disabling the counter due to inactivity an option > that you can turn on and off because some people (me for instance) simply > want the timer to go off religiously every 2 hours regardless of any down > time in between.
