Version 1.9.901 On both my laptops (unity, one monitor) the applet is working fine, but not so on my desktop (unity, two monitors). There, it doesn't appear, even though it is enabled in preferences.

Logging out and back in seems to solve this issue. I'm confused as to why that is required, though. A Unity bug, perhaps? ;-)

It seems the unity panel does not automatically detect and start new plugins. It loads the indicator plugins only at start up...
