I'm not the maintainer of the Ubuntu workrave package. Please file a bug in launchpad for an official ubuntu package. I'm busy creating a PPA that contains releases candidate of Workrave 1.10. Version 1.9.900 has been upload and awaits building: https://launchpad.net/~rob-caelers/+archive/workrave
